1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Madchester Medical Cannabis Clinic website and services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Madchester Medical Cannabis Clinic is a medical cannabis referral and consultation service operating under Harbour Medical & Wellbeing's CQC registration. We connect patients with GMC-registered specialist prescribers for the assessment and potential prescription of cannabis-based medicines.

Our Services are not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 immediately.

3. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Be a resident of the United Kingdom
• Have a qualifying medical condition for which you have tried at least two previous treatments
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and consultations

4. Consultations

Consultations are conducted via video call by GMC-registered specialist doctors. A consultation is a medical assessment and does not guarantee a prescription. The prescribing decision is made at the sole clinical discretion of the specialist prescriber based on your medical history, current condition, and clinical suitability.

Consultations are not a substitute for your regular GP care. We recommend maintaining your relationship with your GP and informing them of any treatments you receive through our service.

5. Prescriptions

If a prescription is issued, it will be sent to a licensed UK pharmacy for dispensing. The decision to prescribe is at the specialist prescriber's sole clinical discretion. Madchester does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued following a consultation. Prescribed medication must be used only as directed by your prescriber and must not be shared with or given to any other person.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Consultation fees are payable in advance at the time of booking. Medication costs are separate and payable to the dispensing pharmacy. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, but any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or failure to attend, may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a rescheduling at our discretion.

8. Medical Disclaimers

Medical cannabis is not a substitute for conventional medical care. Our Services are intended to complement, not replace, your existing healthcare. The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always seek the guidance of a qualified health provider with any questions regarding your medical condition.

Individual results may vary. Medical cannabis may not be suitable for everyone, and efficacy depends on individual circumstances. Side effects are possible and will be discussed with you during your consultation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madchester Medical Cannabis Clinic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Madchester Medical Cannabis Clinic or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

11. CQC Registration

Madchester Medical Cannabis Clinic operates under the CQC registration of Harbour Medical & Wellbeing. Our clinical services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and we adhere to all applicable CQC standards and regulations. Details of the CQC registration can be verified on the CQC website.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
